So far, we have tried to let you know what is going on by door knocking. Many houses have had one of the steering group knocking on their door to chat to you and this will continue until we believe we have covered every area, so please do not be concerned about this.
We have created leaflets to explain the Neighbourhood Plan and to tell you how to get involved. These have been given to people, put through letterboxes when there was no-one at home and included in the Parish Magazine.
We had two articles written and put into the Parish Magazine and one in the Parish Council Newsletter. Letters have been sent to the editors of local newspapers in Basingstoke and Newbury.
We have held our first drop in session in Wolverton Townsend and our second was held at Heath End Village Hall. These two sessions attracted about 70 people and we have had over 100 responses to our initial questionnaire. This equates to about 4% of our population telling us what they think. This has brought up many ideas and has been a very helpful start, but we need more! Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. But we need even more people to come on board!
We have designed a questionnaire for the autumn of 2024.The second survey is on this site currently. See the 'Have your say' page.
We are at the Repair Cafe each month in Heath End Village Hall.
We are asking for your views at the drop in sessions and as we chat to you when we are out and about or on your doorstep.
We check the email account regularly.
Information we are gathering will be collated and form the basis of our Neighbourhood Plan, so it is crucial you let us know your thoughts about how the Parish should look into the future. There is a requirement that building will happen across the whole country. We need to decide which spaces are important and need preserving; what resources we might like and what type of housing we might need.
